JP Poker break's new ground in tournament poker

JP McCann of JP Poker is breaking new ground in tournament poker next weekend as he attempts to take out the 'crapshoot' element in latestages of tournaments. JP, known for his JP Masters, one of the highlights of the WSOP build up in May, is credited with being a TD at an EPT, The Paddy Power Poker Irish Open Festival, the Chillipoker European deepstack and Boylepoker.com IPO Festival.

Saturday 27th February sees his monthly game, based around the WSOP main event structure and chipstack go that one stage further. If the Average Number of Blinds per level is over 35 the tournament will continue as normal and the next level will continue after 25mins. If the average number of Blinds are less than 25, he replays the level up to 3 times. This effectively takes out a lot of the 'Crapshoot' feel to the late stages of a tournament.

This revelation in poker could change strategies and the way we play poker, not only in Ireland but across the world. If sucessfull, it will be rolled out to the JP Masters on the 7th-10th May.

Brucepoker pro Dara O'Kearney said 'Typical of JP and Christines commmitment to providing the best possible value to players' and we at IPR agree.

If you want to join this revolutionary game then it starts Saturday 27th February in Malloys pub, Tallaght, Dublin. But this is far from a pub game, with skilled dealers on every table and a buyin of €150 which includes reg. For that money you do not expect a two day tourney with this structure.

With the last two months generating a pot of over €10k this is a must for poker players to have a go at.

Note: You should book a seat by calling JP on 087 6448132, it is going to be busy.
