The Eglinton is the West of Irelands premier poker card club. It has 13 poker tables, roulette, Blank Jack and a few other pit games. It is the home of the Wednesday night €100 game. One of Irelands longest running tournaments.
There is at least one cash game running every night. On busy nights you will see at least one 2/5 NLH and an Omaha game.
They are one of the few clubs offering a regular daytime game with their fast and furious games. These are fun events aimed primarily at students with a few die hard-ers added in for the Craic. Prize pools regulary hit €1200. Great value for those learning the game and the gamblers alike.
Every night of the week host a larger game from €100 freezeouts to €25 rebuy's. The choice and fields are big as is the welcome you will receive. It is a venue that is for poker players run by poker players such as Fintan Gavin, Dave Curtis, Ross Boyle and Manus Burke. 3.33% rake confirms this. One of the lowest we have found.
If you ever want to play good poker in the best surroundings. The Eglington is the Best venue.
One side note. The race week last year filled the Eglinton every night. On one night there was 11 cash tables running with loads of fish trying to lose there money. Recommended for a good evening out this July.
